Colors & Combination possibilities

About A Stool AAS 38 has a seat shell made of polypropylene, which is available in various classic and unusual colors (black, white, grey, coral red, blue). The shells can be combined with a steel base frame, which can be either purist or powder-coated in black or white to match the seat shell. With two different seat heights: 65 cm and 75 cm, the bar stool can be adapted to different counter heights.

Variants & Materials

In addition, the About A Stool stool from Hay is also available with other seat shells and bases, e.g. as AAS 32 with a wooden base frame or as AAS 39 with upholstery: the seat shells and bases of the AAS -series result in numerous combinations that never appear random or unintentional.
