The Grand Relax is a spacious and luxurious armchair from Vitra that invites you to relax and ensures maximum comfort. The armchair was designed by Antonio Citterio with a classically restrained design language. When sitting down, the user sinks comfortably into the armchair and is embraced by the high backrest. The integrated, adjustable and lockable synchronous mechanism concealed in the armchair uses the latest technology to ensure the optimum resting position. The seat and backrest move independently of each other in a synchronized relationship. A rotary knob can be used to adjust how smoothly the mechanism should move and it can be locked in any position.

An ottoman is also available to match the armchair, on which the feet or a serving tray can be placed.

Made of aluminum, premium leather and split leather

Grand Relax looks compact and inviting at the same time. The careful proportions of the floor-to-ceiling body, the long armrests and the upwardly tapering backrest give the armchair character and make it a timeless eye-catcher.

Leather covers the soft seat and back cushions, which rest loosely on the armchair, hug the user and always return to their original shape. Thanks to the four-star base made of aluminum, the armchair can also be rotated 360 degrees. The lower half of the back of the seat shell is edged on the outside with embossed split leather and forms a kind of shield that defines the contours of the armchair. The combination of the split leather sections with Premium leather creates a beautiful contrast between the inside and outside of the armchair. The embossed split leather also covers the edging of the seat and ottoman base.

The armchair is available with various leather covers and aluminum bases in polished, powder-coated basic dark or chestnut.
