Iconic armchair inspired by Spain
The Spanish Chair by Fredericia is an armchair made of saddle leather and solid wood by Børge Mogensen who was inspired by traditional Spanish armchairs on a trip through Spain in 1958. The seat and backrest are adjustable thanks to the solid brass buckles and the chair is easy to move.
Solid oak and leather
The frame of the armchair is manufactured with geometric precision to create a long-lasting and high-quality seat. The extra wide armrests also serve as storage space for glasses, cups or smaller objects. Thus the user is not dependent on another piece of furniture like a side table to make himself comfortable in the armchair for hours and a piece of furniture is created that functions independently in the room, interacts with it and is multifunctional.
The frame of the Spanish Chair by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia is made of oak and the pure vegetable tanned leather or saddle leather is natural or dyed. The rustic and natural materials develop a unique patina that becomes more and more beautiful over time.
