Marble bookend
The Arkis bookend from Gejst is not a classic bookend. It consists of three marble objects, which shine through their sculptural form as art objects. Arkis So it not only keeps books in place, it is also ideal for decoration on a shelf, a commode or in the windowsill.
The design was inspired by the many arches of classicism and neoclassicism, using the stunning Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in Rome as a model. To achieve more depth, the golden ratio was used, which only becomes apparent when the objects are combined. Placed together, the scale creates extraordinary views through the objects.
Arkis can be placed flexibly as a triple object or separately. The bookend is made of marble and is available in two different colors.
