The practical storage system on office walls was thought up by the German designer Dorothee Becker in 1969. It stylishly stores everything that normally just lies around, but in an unobtrusive fashion.
Equipped with containers of different sizes and shapes, as well as melamine hooks and clips, the Uten.Silo helps organise objects in offices, kitchens, workshops, bathrooms and children's rooms. Vitra manufactures the Uten.Silo in both the original edition of 1969 as well as the smaller one from 1970.
Uten.Silo, from the Vitra Design Museum collection, is made of ABS-plastic and contains metal hooks.
