Rug in the shape of a flower
The Bloom rugs from nanimarquina are the smaller models from the colorful Flora collection. As a complement to the flowery rugs based on the works of the artist Santi Moix, each shows Flora Bloom each shows only one flower and is also designed in the shape of the flower. Bloom is available in two different versions. The rug shows a flower in full bloom or at the end of its life cycle, as a wilted blossom.
The Bloom rugs are a great eye-catcher and bring a variety of colors into the room thanks to the detailed depiction of the flower. They show a piece of nature and can be placed flexibly anywhere. Made from 100% wool
The rugs in the Flora collection are made from 100% pure new wool. It comes from India and is also produced in the same place. As a result, nanimarquina reduces its environmental impact. In addition, nanimarquina has opted for eco-washing of its textiles. The detergent Ecosheen is a multi-enzymatic and biodegradable product, i.e. free from chemical additives. Traditionally, wool is the most commonly used material for carpets. In addition to its function as a heat and sound insulator, wool is also hypoallergenic, easy to care for and 100% biodegradable.
Part of the Flora collection
The Flora collection by nanimarquina is the result of a collaboration between the brand and the artist Santi Moix. In his floral work, Moix depicts the connection between life and death through flowers. He shows flowers in every phase of their life, from the bud to radiant, colorful blossoms to the withered flower.
The artist
Santi Moix i Sala loves to tell stories with his paintings and let his imagination run wild. The lover of fifteenth-century Indian painting finds inspiration in literature and famous artists such as Delacroix and Picasso. Over the years, the Spanish artist has had exhibitions all over the world. Moix gained international recognition in 2013 when Prada commissioned a large mural for its store in New York.
