Vase classic made of glass
The classic Lyngby vase was already designed in 1936 and reinterpreted as a glass version. Just like the original made of porcelain, the glass vase convinces with a unique aesthetic, which is due to the fluted structure. The play of light from the glass columns creates an extraordinary liveliness. The vase is ideal for smaller bouquets, decorative branches or as a stand-alone sculpture.
Re-Edition of the classic
The porcelain vase became an absolute design icon in the 1930s and is still highly regarded by design lovers and collectors for its simple elegance. Together with other designs, the Lyngby vase marks the beginning of a new design era, which was inspired by the Bauhaus movement and characterized by the functionalism that began at that time.
In 2012, the brand Lyngby Porcelæn was relaunched and the production of the popular Lyngby vase was resumed. With the greatest possible care and respect for the special history, the vase is now handmade in Denmark according to the original specifications.
Diverse collection of vases
The vase in mouth-blown glass is available in different sizes and in several colours. The series has also been expanded to include bonbonnières as well as cachepots.
