Kähler Signature - An artistic interpretation of nature
Inspired by the beauty of nature and botany, the vase was Signature vase was created by the designer duo Kristine Meyer and Sabine Lavigne. It combines a playful and curious design language.
Inspired by the Morgen Glory flower, the vase forms an Signature vase forms an elegant funnel at the top. The characteristic stripe of the Morgen Glory flowers has also been poetically interpreted and further developed in the vase. A special feature is a special perforated ceramic plate that allows flowers to be arranged with precision. The plate can also be easily removed.
Playful design
A humorous detail are the characteristic lines that extend over the rim and into the inside of the vase. This is not only elegant and surprising, but also adds a new dimension to the design, as the shape is accentuated both inside and out. The vase is made of ceramic and hand-painted. This adds to the vibrancy of the authentic charm, which is also created by the graphic interpretation of flowers and seed heads on the vases.
Creation by a creative duo
The Danish design duo MeyerLavigne consists of Kristine Meyer and Sabine Lavigne, who both graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and specialize in ceramics and glass. The duo works with a wide range of materials such as ceramics, textiles, wood and print.
The vase is available in several color designs.
