Decorative whale made of hand-painted ash wood
The Eames House in California by Charles and Ray Eames is one of the most famous houses in the world and is full of design classics that were and still are popular. Part of the furnishings include a wooden whale with a length of 2 m, which serves as a decorative element in the living area. It comes from the collecting passion of the two designers and has its roots in North American folk art. A slightly smaller replica of the whale is now available from Vitra for the home.
The whale is made of ash wood and painted by hand, which makes it a special decoration object.
